Carcassonne

Our neighbor introduced us to this board game – it’s a turn-by-turn strategy game played with tiles, in which points are gained by completing towns, roads, fields, etc.

Carcassonne

We first played it as a group of adults, but were surprised to find that our kids – who are 8 years old and 6 years old – also really enjoyed it. They quickly grasped the strategy aspect of it and are able to play competitively with adults. Which makes it the first board game in our house that everyone enjoys playing!! So it gets a lot of use 🙂

Buy it at Amazon for about $30 or visit your local gaming store.
